In a recent development reported on March 29, the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has reached a significant milestone with the installation of the inaugural Garder on new Ravi Bridge in Lahore which is currentyl under-construction.
This groundbreaking step, facilitated by heavy cranes, marks the commencement of a series of installations comprising a total of 96 Garders. Once finalized, the bridge is poised to offer Lahore residents a revamped entry and exit route, thereby augmenting connectivity across the city.
The decision to construct the bridge stemmed from the persistent traffic issues encountered by motorists on the old Ravi Bridge, characterized by frequent congestion. Optimistic about the project’s progress, officials from the Lahore Development Authority have assured that the bridge will soon be ready for traffic, promising smoother journeys for commuters.
