Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif of Pakistan has recently unveiled a series of substantial incentives for Pakistan’s top taxpayers as per a news report on March 26. These incentives include the issuance of blue passports and the conferral of Pakistan Honour Cards.
Additionally, these distinguished taxpayers will be bestowed with the title of honorary ambassadors of Pakistan, with directives issued to Pakistan’s embassies worldwide to extend full support and coordination to them.
Addressing attendees at a ‘Tax Excellence Awards’ ceremony, held to recognize the highest contributors to the national tax base, PM Sharif underscored the significance of acknowledging the efforts of individuals who diligently fulfill their tax obligations. He emphasized the pivotal role played by such taxpayers in bolstering the economy through their entrepreneurial endeavors, establishment of businesses, and facilitation of non-traditional exports.
